Intercessory Prayer Ministry
Opportunities to Serve in Prayer Ministry—
Intercessory Prayer Center You can volunteer to spend one hour a week praying for the needs of others. This ministry provides the oppoprtunity to pray for the needs of the children at children’s hospital, missionaries serving around the world, the daily needs of the congregation to the needs listed from the Sunday School classes. If you have an interest in making a practical difference in the lives of others please contact Todd Harrington to learn more about how to serve in this ministry. Moms Prayer Group You can join other mom’s in praying for their husbands and their children. This prayer group meets on Monday mornings at 10:00 at the home of Jennifer Hunsberger. Ongoing Prayer Ministries
Tuesday Morning Prayer Meeting, Each Tuesday, 6:40 a.m., Gathering Room in the North Building. Dennis Goodwin invites you to join him each Tuesday morning at 6:40 a.m. in the Gathering Room, for prayer. This 40 minute informal prayer time uses a very simple format we take prayer requests, divide into small groups and pray, read verses of scripture and leave to minister to the world in Jesus name. In the small groups praying audibly is optional as some individuals may choose to pray silently. This is for adults of all ages and concludes each Tuesday at 7:20 am. In the session you may arrive or depart at anytime as it informal gathering of God’s people whose only purpose for meeting is prayer. Prayer Chapel, First Foor West, open for prayer anytime you are at Dawson.
