Find a meaningful place of worship and service through the Sanctuary Choir. New music is here! New opportunities of service and ministry abound. Select the Sanctuary service in which you would like to sing (9:40 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.). No audition is necessary.

Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 6:15 p.m.-7:45 p.m. We will begin rehearsing Christmas music very soon. Childcare is provided through Quest and “After-Quest” childcare. If you serve in Quest, join the rehearsal already in progress when Quest is over. Contact the Music Office for more information.

Student Choirs Begin New Season

The Dawson Family of Faith has a large number of very talented middle school and high school students. Exciting opportunities for singing, fellowship, and ministry are provided each Sunday through the Middle School and Chapel Choirs.

This year, leadership for these dynamic choirs will be provided by Melissa Bonds, Brent Coleman, and Bob Hatfield. The choirs will sing separately on some occasions and together on others. A special youth choir festival is already planned for September 26. Special music for Christmas, Easter, and summer mission tours are important parts of the student choirs’ ministry.

Rehearsals begin Sunday, August 22, at 5:00 p.m.

Dawson Orchestra

Instrumental music is a valuable part of the Dawson Music Ministry.
The Dawson Orchestra: Pat Morrow, conductor
This 35-piece orchestra rehearses every week from 6:15-7:45 in the Sanctuary. The orchestra performs on Sunday mornings twice a month and participates in the seasonal music presentations at Christmas and in the spring. Players are needed in every section (strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion).

Dawson Music Academy

The Dawson Music Academy offers instruction in many instruments, including French horn, piano, voice, rhythm percussion, and brass.

Lesson times are available for most instruments. Registration is open year-round.

Youth String Orchestra
