Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry Training Stephen Ministers at Dawson minister to people going through personal crises—the loss of a loved one, divorce, illness, feelings of isolation, and other experiences that create anxiety. Stephen Ministers are trained to deal with these crises on a one-to-one basis. Each Stephen Minister undergoes fifty hours of training prior to being assigned a care receiver. During this two-year commitment, each Stephen Minister participates in supervision and continuing education. For more information, contact Bill Johnston.
Contact: Bill Johnston at 871-7324 or bill.johnston@dawsonchurch.org
